Rik Muilwijk

Mr. Muilwijk is a Partner of Navis and an Investment Committee member.

Mr. Muilwijk was raised in the Netherlands and received his education in the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Prior to joining Navis, Mr. Muilwijk worked as a corporate finance lawyer for eight years. He practiced in Amsterdam and New York. Mr. Muilwijk was a senior associate in the corporate practice group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and received his initial legal training at the Benelux firm Loyens & Loeff. He specializes in private equity and M&A transactions as well as capital markets transactions.

Mr. Muilwijk holds an MBA from Rotman School of Management – University of Toronto, an LLM from King’s College London – University of London and a JD from the University of Amsterdam - Vrije Universiteit, completing his elective courses at the University of Paris I - Sorbonne.
