Yew Mun Wong was raised in Malaysia and received his education in Malaysia.

Prior to joining Navis, Yew Mun worked for 3 years in Southern Investment Bank as a Manager - Investment Department. He managed individual and corporate discretionary accounts which outperformed the return from general market during his tenure with the bank. He regularly conducted research and analysis of public listed companies and prepared reports to be submitted to the bank’s investment committee for approval. He also provided advisory to non-discretionary clients regarding Malaysia’s stock market outlook, fund performance, economy and asset allocation. Prior to that, Yew Mun was with Ranhill Power Bhd as a Finance Executive - Group Finance. He was member of team with merchant bankers and legal advisors in formulating the debt restructuring schemes which was successfully completed in March 2004.

He passed all the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), USA examinations in June 2006 and a member of Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants, UK.
