Serena Wee was raised in Malaysia and received her education in Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Navis, Serena was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as an Executive Senior. Her past experience included the provision of assurance for both listed and non-listed companies, mainly in the financial sector which includes stock broking companies and merchant banks, as well as manufacturing and trading companies. She also has experience in performing due diligence for one of the biggest financial take-over in Malaysia.

Serena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance from University of Manchester, United Kingdom and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
